Cinematography & Steadicam

Born in Malaysia, Eric Oh first became interested in film and photography watching nature documentaries on television as a young child.  These interests were further fuelled when he received his first stills camera at the age of 11 and started making his own images.  When he was 13, Eric immigrated to Toronto, Canada. There, he went on to pursue his passion of image making.  Eric studied and graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in film.

A dedicated Cinematographer and Steadicam Operator, Eric has been working in the film industry in Toronto, Canada since 1994. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers and the International Cinematographer's Guild (IATSE Local 667). Eric has worked on numerous high profile TV commercials, music videos, documentaries and feature films as a cameraman. 

In 2008, Eric went to Bali, Indonesia to shoot a documentary for 5 months.  After the documentary was wrapped in Late 2008, he decided to move to South East Asia.  Eric is currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Since he arrived, he has shot commercials for clients such as Nestle, Celcom, KFC, and operated Steadicam on commercials for Audi, Acuvue, and Suzuki, just to name a few.
